If we have learnt anything in the dialysis community in the past year, it is that we truly have to change the approach on how patients are prescribed dialysis and also to always consider home dialysis when possible. Although countless articles have been written and published alluding to the benefits of home dialysis especially in these pandemic times, (Ref 1, 2, 4, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,) the challenge has been in adopting measures to support home dialysis, specifically, the peritoneal dialysis.
